ISB Hi-End MUSES® Electronic Balanced Input Selector

 

This electronic three-input balanced audio input selector board is designed and built in the US, using the best quality parts, and is aimed to satisfy the highest audiophile quest for purity of sound reproduction.

 

The unit is built using  a unique multichannel ultralinear electronic analog switch coming from the same team that introduced the NJR MUSES®72320 volume control chip.  The same chip is currently used by several high-end brands in their commercially available products. The chip offers reduced capacitance, better stability and freedom from acoustic feedback, while maintaining negligible distortion and noise level

 

When used with the VCM Volume Control board, an MCU Control board and a low noise power supply, the ISB board makes a complete Hi-End preamp that rivals most of the best commercially available preamplifiers.

Two ISB boards may be daisy chained if six balanced  stereo inputs are needed. An MM/MC RIAA corrector daughter board may be added to convert channel 1 into a universal phono input.

 

A high quality output opamp is installed in a socket and may be replaced by any dual JFET opamp with a standard pinout.  The board may be used with an outboard amplifier/buffer section or without any active output circuitry at all.

A BOB balanced stereo output driver may be added to further expand connectivity.

 

A high quality MUTE relay is provided to eliminate any unwanter noises  from power-up/power-down processes. Refer to the Specifications section for complete product specifications.
